Sasta I think we should not take it personal Rock is trying to mention how problems can be resolved easily and with high priority.
Actually report content does help in many cases, and help to keep the forum clean. Like members are not online 24 hours, moderators cannot be online 24 hours. We need to be patient sometime.

 

Sasta bhai, os is small community with very few dedicated members and blame it on rewards on posting deals or several sites doing own promotion it becomes very difficult to check every tiny bit of whatever is posted by so many posters and so little moderators. If I'm not wrong there have been 12-15 mods already on os and all left barring few new recruits. Give them some time. They are humans. Thing is not overlooking anything but experience and dedication which lacks right now. For whatever work these guys are doing they are giving time from college or job just to keep os clean and perfect. Things can go wrong and even God isn't perfect. Its your and mine duty as vigil viewer to alert them. Just today I sent 3 reports and out of which 2 where taken care of and 3rd is still pending and I'm sure due to complexity nature a new mod won't have any idea what to do and he had left it then and there. Someone senior like USA bhai or Developer will come and work on it and clean the forum. Let's give these guys some space too. They are new and learning and thanks to them os is clean whatever possible way they are performing duty. We can be critic and we can be teacher. I choose to be a teacher instead. I hope you too will be one.

if you want to report then there is an option of report (admin/mods will take care of that thread), if you want to comment then there is also an option of comment you can tag any of the mod/admin/me, i will report that thread (admin/mods will take care of that thread), and if you dont want to do anything then also (admin/mods will take care of that thread)..

So chill buddy everybody is doing his/her own job nicely, if you want to then only report nobody will tell you why you reported and all. Just enjoy being here buddy..!

You are there on this forum since a fairly long time, and I am sure you must have observed that there are many deal posters(+ deal copy-pasters as well!), but not many members who are actually engaging in discussion about deals/products. Attaining members of type 2 would be possible only if number of flaws is minimized.

This thread wouldn't be having 26+ replies had I taken it personally.

How can it be made a big one? By constantly improving the way it is being managed. OS should set its own standards as benchmarks and try to exceed those.

I am not saying they should be monitoring forum activity the whole day, but it is disappointing to see some thread requiring moderators' attention sliced between two threads which have been visited/promoted by moderator.

No, I am happy as a critic because a teacher might not have the courage to make someone aware about his/her student's weakness. Only a critic can take the best out of a person, doesn't matter what the field be!

i am not missing your point buddy. just telling you buddy dont upset yourself with such things even i fight with mods when they are wrong, but we need to understand that they are also humans and mistakes happens.

But if Administrators had wanted to keep it a *SMALL* community, then they wouldn't have invested so much on this as a Google/Facebook group would have served the purpose. So it means they are striving to grow!

 

At present it is a small community, as India is a developing country it is in a growing stage same ways OS is also growing and will keep in mind what you said, people like you will help OS grow much easily. Just keep helping the mods/admin they will help you whenever and wherever you need them too. Just keep loving them and fetch their love too. I bet you, you will surely enjoy being here. Just dont make it a paragraph. If you feel something is not good just report to
ny mod they will surely help you out. If you have any problem against any mod you can tell it to @usa11 and @admin bro they will help you out surely..!

That's where whole problem lies and I already stated.

OS sure will join big boards and yes, negligence and mistakes won't help achieve that target. Having said this, trust there is serious lack of manpower and all thanks to ironman, rock and krr (I might have forgotten someone, sorry) and memebers like muthu and you have being working in betterment of this site. Its certainly not a case of doing repeated mistakes knowingly its just negligence and lack of guidance to these few.

Now as I stated in start, 2 admins here run site have other commitments in life (read job/business) and don't have full time to spare. USA bhai is more of an investor and Bajwa bhai administrator, while one has big business to handle another is busy in a new born baby and his IT job most of the 24 hours they get in a day. Same goes with 3-4 mods, I guess all are college students. for them guidance is available only from guys like developer or your support. these few guys don't do mistake knowingly they are trying best to be perfect but every time its not possible too.

And trust they try to improve. Some fail and become history and some keep swimming against the tides and try to live up to duty. While a dozen mods have gone never to return back some are working hard for what ever possible manner they can. Hunting down a repost, missing picture on home page, finding good deals out of sea of spams and craps and promoting deals on own discretion and replying to queries of members via pm and posts is left to 3 or 4 guys. Give them time and space, they surely will learn. Please don't critisies so much that they leave forum for good. Already one new entrant is hardly seen these days after some dispute with you I guess, I may be wrong though.
