Search before posting : Search using URL/Coupon & Repost Rules

Hello Guys,

Just now I finished merging/deleting more than 20 reposts and these repost were made in past 12 hours only. It's very sad for a community that it is getting so many reposts even after repeated warning to users. I don't think that there are any issues with search system but seems like members don't bother to search before posting the deal. It hardly takes 2 second to search whether a deal is already posted or not. Please it's a sincere request from our side to all the members that "DO SEARCH BEFORE POSTING ANY DEAL" from now onwards. In case anyone is found to be making more than 2 reposts in a day then we may have to start penalty system.

When Deal will be considered as repost:-
Same Deal Link:-
1. If original deal is not more than 30 days old then new deal posted by user having same link will be treated as repost.
2. Any price drop within 15 days should be reported in the same deal thread. Creating a new thread for price drop will be treated as repost. Due credits will be given to user for reporting a price drop.
3. If deal was expired and goes live again and original deal is not more than 30 days old, then creating a new thread will be treated as repost. You should report it in same thread and due credits will be given to you.
4. If you have found a coupon which can be applied on the same deal link which is posted earlier and your price with new coupon is less than the original deal then report the new coupon in same thread. Creating new thread within 15 days with different coupon and same deal link will be treated as repost.

When deal will not be considered as repost:-
1. If original thread is more than 30 days old then creating a new thread will not be considered as repost.
2. If there is price drop and original thread is more than 15 days old then creating a new thread will not be considered as repost.
3. If coupon can be applied on the existing deal reducing its price further and original deal is more than 15 days old then creating a new thread will not be considered as repost.
4. Shopclues Deals:- Shopclues Deals expires and then again go live with different coupon but same link within 3-4 days. Such kind of deals if posted in different thread will not be treated as repost.
5. Tradus MegaDeals:- Tradus Megadeals expires and then again go live with different coupon but same link within 3-4 days. Such kind of deals if posted in different thread will not be treated as repost.

Upcoming Deals Credits:-
userA has posted a deal in upcoming section and userB updated the live status that the deal is live now.
1. Update time and Deal live time less than 1 hour >> Credits to userA
2. Update time and Deal live time between 30 mins - 1 hour and there is amendment in deal (price update or link change) >> Mod Decision. Credits can be shared or full credits can be given to userA/userB. Depends on type of update.
3. Update time and Deal live time more than 1 hour (No amendment in deal) >> Mod Decision. Credits can be shared or full credits can be given to userA/userB. Depends on type of update.
4. Update time and Deal live time more than 1 hour and there is amendment in deal (price update or link change) >> Credits to userB

Penalty and Warning:-
In case there will be more than 2 reposts in a day by single user then 10 credits will be deducted as penalty from the user's account.

Note:- In case time gap between two deals is less than 5 minutes then those deals will not come under penalty and warning criteria. In such cases threads will be deleted/merged without warning/penalty.

Deal will be considered as valid only if it contains the following information:-
1. Title Should Contain Store Name + Product Name + Price including shipping
2. Deal content should contain:-
Product Link
Product Image (if any)
Product Description
MRP (if any)
Deal Price
Coupon Code (if any)
Price Comparison with links (if any)

Explaining Search System in glance:-

1. If you have deal details and you are ready to post then please enter the URL of the deal in search box. Let's say you want to post Shopclues Milton Box Deal which you have found just now and below is the deal link

Just copy the deal link and paste in search box at top right corner



Hitting enter or clicking Search will show the following screen:-



Ohhh!!! One Result shown for that link, so it means that I should not post this deal as it is already posted by another member.

2. I would recommend you to search using product link. In case you don't see any result using product link then paste the coupon code in search box to check whether that coupon is already posted or not.

Note:- Sometimes link is having special character after ? then you can search using link but removing the content after ? to ensure that you did valid search.

In case you want to help this community by checking whether deal is repost or not then just right click the link and do "Copy Link Address". You will see that link with onlinesasta.com/url? is copied to clipboard. In such cases remove this front part and then search using remaining link to check whether posted deal is repost or not. In case you come across repost then do report in the community. Our Moderators will take necessary action as soon as possible.

 

Nopes bro member posting repost gets -1 as soon as thread is permanently deleted/merged. You can see top spent in a day here:-

Yes bro deletion of 1 credit for repost is there from very first day and it is automated from very first day ... Aapne kabhi repost nahi ki so I guess u dnt know that this system exists ...ask regular guys who do daily atleast one repost .. dey very much know about deduction of credit system

 

Update for deal hunters:-

Till now only 3 users have got penalty:-
1. PK got penalty of 20 points but after arguing wid us he got his 20 points back. More reposts by him will lead to a strict action.

2. SWITY4U got 20 points penalty but then she got 30 points back in her account coz we promised her that if you will not make any repost in next 7 days then we will not even give u those 20 points back but will give u 10 as reward. And we fulfilled our promise...

3. Same is case with nithin , he got 20 points penalty but today he got 20 points back for following proper rules and guidelines...

So in short we have not deducted even a single point till now as penalty. This penalty system is just to make you realize that search before posting is must. We are not that cruel or harsh on our users that we will keep on deducting credits... It even hurts us when we deduct 10 credits from our users balance but we are forced to do so... This is the only way we can make our users realize the importance of search before posting...
