If the valve is leaky, bubbles are seen on the top of the indicator (as shown in picture) 2) To test cylinder regulator Remove the rubber pipe from the gas stove and insert it to the bottom of the gas leakage detector. If the regulator if faulty, then bubbles are seen on top of the detector (as seen in the picture)
