Congratulations to all Round 3 Winners Was not easy to reach up to the Quarter Finals stage. Battle is fierce now as your opponent has also won 3 in a row through his skills and luck. Please pay close attention to rules to plan your strategy. RULES : 1) You can select any kind of 8 players from any Teams you like from the following matches : 18th May : Chennai vs Bangalore 18th May : Hyderabad vs Kolkata 19th May : Rajasthan vs Mumbai 19th May : Delhi vs Punjab 2) NEW : Now , you can buy up to 6 extra players if you want. All additional players will cost you 40 points each. For example you take 2 extra players making a squad of total 10 players ,80 points will be deducted from your final points tally. If you choose 6 extra players , 240 points will be deducted from your final points tally. It's not compulsory to take extra players for anyone. 3) You can select 1 substitute player as well which you can use to exchange for any 1 player of your squad of 8/9/10/11/12/13/14 provided that original player doesn't play the actual game or the game is whitewashed without a single ball played. If all your original players play the game , you cannot use your substitute player. It's also not compulsory to use your Sub. 4) Same like Round 3 , You have to enter your Team in your individual battle thread or have a choice to send me by private message. a) If you decide to use the pm option , you cannot post your Team in your battle thread at any stage neither you are allowed to change your Team. Once you send me your team through pm , it's final and cannot change by posting in your battle thread or sending pm again. We will post your Team in your battle thread latest by 2:30 pm on 18th May. Time of your pm sent will be treated as time of your entry. b) If you decide to use Battle Thread option , you can keep changing your Team till the deadline by making a new entry in your thread. Your earlier entry will automatically be null and void. You are also not forced to take extra players if you have taken it earlier. Can keep changing the Team anyway you like. 5) Last date and time to enter your Team is 2 pm on 18th May. 6) NEW : It's not compulsory though but now , you can choose up to two players twice instead of one. 7) To win , you have to just beat your opponent. Player getting more points win and advance to the Semi Finals. In case of Tie , player who entered his valid Team ( latest team which qualifies for the points ) first , WINS. 8) In case one of the player doesn't enter his Team at all , other player Wins automatically. In case both the players do not enter their Teams , both are out of the Cup. 9) Please mention the name of the players clearly without leaving any ambiguity. There are certain players with similar names or same names. So in those cases , please mention the Team name as well. In case of any dispute , our decision will be final. 10) If the match goes to Super over , any performance done in super over wouldn't be counted towards the points. 11) NEW : Fairplay Bonus : Though it's not exactly fairplay but a help towards us and being active in your battle. 5 bonus points per match will be given if you update your score ( must be correct score ) within 2 hours of the match. Since there are total 4 matches in your battle , you can get up to 20 bonus points for free just by updating your points after every match. If you update points for 2 matches , you get 10 points bonus. If you do for all 4 , you get 20 points bonus. Points must be correct , else you do not get any bonus.

And even if they have , it's not necessary that the player who posts first made correct calculation So another player should also calculate the points of his individual players and total of those players Main idea is to be active in your thread. Not just make Team and vanish So just a small token of 20 bonus points. Thanks
Points of each player should be shown or we have to only post our final total after each match for fairplay bonus ??
Point of each player. It's simple anyways. Suppose you have 3 players in match 1 of 18th , 2 players in match 2 of 18th may , 3 in match 1 of 19th and 2 in match 2 of 19th. Now , after match 1 of 18th , post points of your 3 players and total within 2 hours. after match 2 of 18th , post points of your 2 players and total till that point which will be of 5 players. and same for 19th may. It will hardly take 5 minutes after each match Thanks
Just a reminder about the Fairplay bonus to all quarter finalists Points of all your individual players and total should be posted within 2 hours ( 10-15 minutes grace will be accepted to the nearest hour. For example match getting over at 7:45 , you can enter your points by 10:00 ) of the each match getting over. In case none of your players took part in any particular match , you can always come and post 0 points for that match indicating none of your players were active. Main idea is to be active in your battle thread. Thanks
Chennai made a very low score. Only 138 Those who took Raina have much to cheer about I recall few have him for sure. Maxwell has been taken by all the QuarterFinalists at least once. No one wanna take the risk
I noticed scores posted till now for fairplay bonus were wrong. You are allowed to post a new score if you posted wrong by mistake earlier. We can be lenient towards scoring in terms of : 1) not making handicap points ( 40 per extra player ) adjusted initially 2) not posting points of all your players but only for those who come into play after cancelling common players Can be flexible towards any other things as well but at least scoring should be correct. Else fairplay bonus wouldn't be given. Thanks
For both the night matches ( tonight and tomorrow ) , in case players want to sleep early , they can even post their points by next day morning 10:00 am for fairplay points We do not want any single player to lose out on any fairplay points. Whole idea is to keep them involved in where they stand after each match.
