one narrow dark bridge.
Can walk across only with lantern.
only 2 persons can walk together.
but there are 4 persons ( 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 ) and only 1 lantern.
person 1 can cross the bridge in 5 minutes
person 2 can do the same in 10 minutes
person 3 can do the same in 15 minutes
and
person 4 in 20 minutes.
If and when 2 persons walk together , faster person must walk at the speed of slower person as they have to walk together.

Now , what is the shortest time possible that all 4 will cross the bridge ? also tell how.

 

iske baad aage kya hua honga

 

4 should go with 3 , 20 minutes +15 min
then 3 with 2 , 15 min + 10
2 with 1 , 10
total 70 minutes

 

First A and B cross together taking 10 minutes,
A returns taking 5 minutes
C and D go on taking 20 minutes
B returns taking 15 minutes
A and B go taking 10 minutes

So total = 10+5+20+15+10=60 minutes

 

sry b returns taking 10 minutes , so time is 55 minutes
